Claire has been working in broadcast media for more than 20 years and is an award-winning radio producer.

Claire moved to national radio station Newstalk FM in August 2016 where she has worked across current affairs, interactive and specialist speech programmes. She has produced George Hook, Ivan Yates, Ciara Kelly and many more.

She is currently the senior producer on The Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk and has worked with that programme since March 2021. The show won the IMRO Award for best current affairs programme in October 2021 and 2022. Claire and her team won an IMRO Award for her week-long on-air campaign about fertility issues which featured on Lunchtime Live with Ciara Kelly, and she has won a number of Headline Media Awards for her broadcasting work in the area of mental health.

Claire founded Prestige Media in 2021. She uses her extensive skillset and experience to design, develop and produce podcasts, and she works with clients and brands in media consulting and communications coaching. She works with high-end clients in the corporate, charity and lifestyle sectors and only accepts work she feels truly passionate about.

Claire is also experienced in event management. She has set up and successfully run and developed a number of charity initiatives during her career to date, including a multi-award-winning awareness and fundraising annual event for several cancer charities in County Wicklow. The Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning raised more than €250,000 in funding for cancer charities in the garden county and what began as one small two-hour event in 11 different venues became an annual weekend of more than 50 events.

She has also completed several leadership masterclasses and courses in innovation and communications.

In her spare time, Claire volunteers as a rainbows facilitator and co-ordinator at an after-school homework club. She has completed extensive training for these and is also a trained play volunteer for children’s hospitals and has completed a number of Jigsaw courses for minding and understanding youth mental health. She feels very passionate about wellbeing.

On the team

We work extensively with Shane Dempsey, founder of Collaborative Studios on Dawson Street in Dublin 2. Shane is an IT, broadcast and sound engineer with more than 15 years’ experience. During that time, he worked with Communicorp Media (now Bauer Media) spending nine years fixing tech issues and coming up with broadcast solutions for radio presenters and studios.

He went on to manage the studio for Maximum Media and in June 2019, he founded Collaborative Studios. With a wide range of skills, Shane brings great industry experience and easy-going enthusiasm to every project he’s involved with, helping broadcasters and sponsors on their content.
